Learn from a collective of expert educators at the crossroads of life and death. In collaboration with respected organizations such as Ova Sanctum, Deathwives, Deathfolx, and the Collaborative Death Doula Conference, these courses are designed to deepen your expertise and expand your capacity when it comes to one of life's most important chapters: the last one.

Art and Science of Death Doulaship
Join us on June 14 in Madison, Wisconsin, from 9am–6pm for a full-day, in-person training in the sacred craft of death doulaship. This expansive experience is designed for anyone ready to explore the profound intersection of skillful support and soulful care at the end of life. Led by veteran death doula and educator Erin Merelli, this workshop is her signature 8-hour Death Doula Lab. It is an intensive, holistic training designed to ground you in the philosophies, tools, and rituals of compassionate deathcare.

The Collaborative Doula Conference 2025
I am thrilled to be attending and teaching at the first-ever Canadian Doula conference in London, Ontario Canada the last weekend of May The conference, designed for birth doulas, is a weekend of workshops, keynotes and community. I will be involved in 2 events - teaching a holistic curriculum on end death doulaship for the birth doulas, and leading a death contemplation workshop to help us overcome our fears of death.

Pet Hospice
The death of our beloved pets is inevitable, as their lives are shorter than our own. For many children, the loss of a pet is their first encounter with death—offering parents a meaningful opportunity to guide them toward a healthy understanding of grief. For others, the loss of an animal companion cuts far deeper than society often acknowledges. And for death doulas, supporting families through pet loss can be a natural and compassionate extension of this work.

The Reality of Mortality
March 23rd | 2–3 PM (MT) | Free | Live on Zoom
We prepare for everything in life—except this.
We learn to cook a meal, manage a budget, and plan for life’s big milestones… but what about death?
10/10 of us will face it, yet we avoid the conversation—leaving ourselves and our loved ones unprepared. I’ve spent years guiding people through this transition, training thousands of death doulas along the way, and speaking on platforms like TEDxMile High,PBS, Forbes and more. And yet, one of the most common things I hear is:
💬 “I wish I had known this sooner.”
